With the Marche Region Law no. 11 of 12.05.2022, the “Agency for Services in the Agro-Food Sector of the Marche” (ASSAM) was transformed into the “Agency for Innovation in the Agro-Food and Fishing Sector – Marche Agriculture and Fishing” (hereinafter AMAP). Among its main functions are conducting studies and research in collaboration with universities, institutes, and research institutions. In this context, it implements projects in the agronomic sector (cereal crops, horticulture, industrial crops, viticulture, olive growing, and fruit growing) with particular attention to the organic sector and low environmental impact. It offers services in certification and traceability, agro-food product analysis, soil management, forestry, and agrometeorology. It also ensures the implementation of phytosanitary regulations within the regional territory.
